A note about my rates:

When engraving, there are two ways to price the work.  One is by the hour and the other is by the job.  I prefer the latter because it lets you know what to expect.  That said, the downside is some projects take a lot longer than others due to complexity, metal consistency issues and other unforseen obstacles, and the pricing in those cases can't be the same as for "normal" jobs.  That's why all of the prices are "starting at."  Typically, I charge that base amount if the work request is fairly straight forward.  For pictoral work, lots of straight cuts or fill, you can count on the cost being roughly 20% higher.  I never charge more without discussing it ahead of time, so you can always start with this price and know you'll get a very nice job done. 



The rates below are subject to change, so please e-mail in advance.  Also, you will need to include extra for the actual cost of shipping and insurance back to you.  In the continental U.S., this is usually $30-40 via USPS.  Engraving generally takes 5 days, depending on the amount requested and complexity.  In rush cases I can do a horn in 1-2 days, but I charge an extra fee up to $200 to expedite work.  There's nothing mechanical or automated about engraving, so the more time I have to work, the better it will turn out.
